Job Summary

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support and enhance the Order Forecasting (GOLD – Merchandising tower) applications. The role involves working on forecasting data pipelines, PO/order processing, and supply chain demand systems, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and seamless integration across downstream systems. The candidate will play a key role in supporting business-critical forecasting processes, improving system performance, and collaborating with ITOS and Engineering teams for issue resolution and enhancements. Key Responsibilities 1. Development & Enhancements Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers [expertia.ai] Build and enhance database solutions for order forecasting, demand planning, and PO processing workflows Develop complex SQL queries for forecasting analysis, reporting, and data validation 2. Order Forecasting Domain Support Support GOLD Order Forecasting processes including: PO creation, validation, and downstream publishing CGO/SUGO/852 forecasting jobs and batch processing Analyze forecasting data issues such as: PO discrepancies and orderable issues [OrderForec...ing_Report | PowerPoint] Data mismatch between GOLD and downstream systems Ensure accurate demand forecasting inputs and supply chain data synchronization 3. Performance Optimization Optimize database objects and queries for high-volume forecasting and order processing data Perform query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis to improve system performance [jobed.ai] Identify and address job failures, long-running jobs, and batch bottlenecks 4. Incident Management & Support Provide L2/L3 support for production issues in forecasting and order processing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining oracle pl/sql applications
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and understand business requirements
3. Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and functions in oracle pl/sql
4. Ensure the performance, integrity, and security of databases
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in oracle pl/sql applications
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
7. Stay updated with oracle pl/sql best practices and recommend improvements

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in oracle pl/sql programming
2. Strong understanding of database design and implementation
3. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of oracle pl/sql code
4. Knowledge of pl/sql collections, triggers, and packages
5. Ability to work effectively in a team and lead technical discussions
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Other Requirements

1.Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert, or any relevant Oracle certifications are a plus
