Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, and manage container orchestration platforms using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves building scalable, secure, and automated environments for modern application deployments across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AKS clusters and OpenShift environments for enterprise workloads.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and OpenShift Pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Helm charts.
- Monitor and optimize cluster performance using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and OpenShift monitoring tools.
- Upgrade AKS and ARO clusters.
- Ensure security compliance through RBAC, secrets management, and container image scanning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L2/L3 support.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enable containerized application delivery.
- Document architecture, processes, and disaster recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Kubernetes-based platforms (AKS and/or OpenShift).
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, ingress controllers, and persistent storage.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux administration, and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and container pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Understanding of security best practices for containerized environments.
Skill Requirements
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio) and advanced networking concepts.
- Good hands-on experience with Linux commands.
