Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to support the upgrade of enterprise Drupal applications from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Drupal development, custom module enhancements, Composer-based dependency management, and resolving compatibility issues during platform upgrades. The role involves upgrading existing Drupal applications, remediating deprecated code, validating third-party module compatibility, and ensuring application stability, security, and performance post-upgrade. Key Responsibilities Drupal Upgrade Activities Perform end-to-end Drupal 10 to Drupal 11 upgrade activities. Analyze and resolve deprecated APIs and compatibility issues. Upgrade Drupal core, contributed modules, and themes to Drupal 11-compatible versions. Assess impact on existing custom modules and integrations. Execute and validate Composer-based dependency upgrades. Drupal Development Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Drupal modules and themes. Modify and optimize existing Drupal functionality as required. Configure and manage content types, taxonomies, views, workflows, and permissions. Follow Drupal coding standards and best practices. Integration & Support Maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs and web services. Support authentication and authorization integrations such as SSO, OAuth, and SAML. Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues across environments. Testing & Validation Perform unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment activities. Ensure application functionality remains intact after upgrade. Address defects identified during testing and deployment phases. Performance & Security Apply Drupal security best practices and updates. Optimize application performance, caching, and database interactions. Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities identified during upgrade assessments. Ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards. Documentation & Collaboration Create technical documentation, upgrade runbooks, and deployment guides. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide post-upgrade support and knowledge transfer. Required Skills Technical Skills 4-8 years of hands-on Drupal development experience. Strong experience with Drupal 9/10/11. Proven experience in Drupal core and module upgrades. Proficiency in PHP, Drupal APIs, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Composer and dependency management. Knowledge of Drupal Configuration Management. Experience with custom module and theme development. Working
