Pega Senior SSA / LSA – CoE Development, Production Support & Platform Engineering
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) / Lead System Architect (LSA) to support enterprise-scale Pega platforms. The role combines application development, production support, platform engineering, governance, reusable framework development, and Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business, architecture, operations, and platform teams to ensure application stability, scalability, security, and continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Platform Support
Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical Pega applications.
Troubleshoot production incidents, performance issues, and application outages.
Analyze Pega logs, alerts, PAL, DB Trace, Tracer, AES/PDC reports.
Support major incidents, RCA preparation, and problem management activities.
Monitor Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, Agents, SLAs, and integrations.
Ensure platform availability, stability, and operational excellence.
Pega Application Development
Design and develop scalable Pega solutions using guardrail-compliant approaches.
Build case management workflows, integrations, business rules, and UI components.
Develop REST/SOAP services, connectors, and enterprise integrations.
Implement reusable frameworks, common components, and accelerators.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices.
Platform Engineering & Governance
Support platform upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes.
Manage security controls, authentication, SSO integration, and access governance.
Establish and maintain platform standards, design guidelines, and governance processes.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security requirements.
Drive platform modernization initiatives including Constellation adoption.
CoE (Center of Excellence) Responsibilities
Create reusable assets, frameworks, design patterns, and integration templates.
Develop implementation cookbooks, standards, and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and architects.
Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments.
Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across applications.
DevOps & Automation
Support CI/CD implementation using Pega Deployment Manager and DevOps pipelines.
Automate deployments, testing, monitoring, and operational activities.
Contribute to platform observability, health monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
Improve release quality through automated validation and governance controls.
Required Technical Skills:
10+ years of Pega experience.
Minimum CSSA, CLSA certified preferred / in progress.
