Job Description
Portfolio Delivery Director
Paris, Île-de-France

Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and bilingual France Delivery Head to lead end-to-end delivery operations for our Application Services portfolio in France. This is a senior leadership role that bridges technology delivery excellence with strategic client management, driving both revenue growth and long-term customer satisfaction for our key French accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end delivery of IT outsourcing engagements across Application Services in France, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timelines, cost budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Govern project portfolios through structured program management disciplines — risk management, milestone tracking, escalation resolution, and executive reporting.
  • Establish and maintain robust delivery governance frameworks aligned with contractual SLAs/KPIs.
  • Drive predictability and consistency in delivery through proactive issue identification and resolution.

2. Business Results & Revenue Growth

  • Collaborate with Presales and Bid teams during proposal, RFP, and bid-defence stages to provide delivery insights, effort estimates, and solution validation.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and SOWs to ensure delivery commitments are feasible and commercially sound.
  • Drive revenue targets through effective account mining — identifying and unlocking upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing French accounts.
  • Support pipeline development by providing on-ground intelligence on client needs and competitive landscape.

3. People Management & Team Development

  • Liaise with HR and Talent Acquisition to plan, recruit, and onboard the right talent in alignment with project ramp-up and business growth plans.
  • Build and lead a high-performance delivery team — both onshore in France and offshore in India — fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Mentor and coach team members, identify skill gaps, and define development paths to improve performance and reduce attrition.
  • Manage workforce utilisation, retention strategies, and succession planning.

4. Customer Engagement & Satisfaction

  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for French clients, building trusted, long-term executive relationships.
  • Drive customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores, referencability, and NPS through proactive engagement and consistent delivery quality.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) with clients, presenting delivery performance, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations.
  • Anticipate client concerns, manage escalations swiftly, and turn challenges into relationship-strengthening opportunities.

5. Process Improvement & Organizational Initiatives

  • Champion process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile adoption) across the delivery organisation in France.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, delivery frameworks, and regulatory requirements applicable to the French market.
  • Actively participate in and lead organisational transformation and centre-of-excellence initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of best practices, knowledge management, and reusability across engagements.
