Job Summary

Enterprise architect for HCLTech internal IT.

 

Cloud and Data Center Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing hybrid IT infrastructure.  Will collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, create scalable and secure architecture. Role is critical for driving technological innovation and maintaining operational excellence, high availability, and disaster recovery for the HCLTech critical systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design: Design, document, and implement comprehensive architecture for both on-premise data center and cloud environments, including hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Solution Development: Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead and provide expertise on cloud migration strategies, including application and data transfer to cloud platforms.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure designs adhere to security best practices, governance policies, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor infrastructure performance, perform capacity planning, and identify opportunities for optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to IT teams, support project execution, and mentor junior staff.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and services to enhance the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural diagrams, policies, and documentation. 

 

Key skills:

 

  • Cloud Platforms: Expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Preferably in Azure
  • On-Premises Infrastructure: Strong background in data center technologies, including virtualization (e.g., VMware), enterprise storage, networking, backups, databases SQL and Oracle and server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Hybrid/Multi-Cloud: Experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (e.g., VPNs) and building hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Automation & Monitoring: Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Security: Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks, identity and access management (IAM), EntraID and Zero Trust principles.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-vendor projects.
