Seeking an experienced AMS (Application Management Services) Program Director to lead strategic AMS engagements and large-scale digital transformation programs across the Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, and Grid Modernization sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar accounts, leading complex proposal responses, driving business growth, and delivering operational excellence through AI led application support and transformation initiatives.

This role requires a blend of domain expertise, client engagement, delivery leadership, solutioning, and pursuit management skills to successfully manage AMS portfolios and contribute to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end AMS programs for global clients in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, and Grid Transformation domains.
  • Manage large distributed delivery teams across onsite, offshore, and nearshore locations.
  • Ensure SLA/KPI adherence, operational excellence, incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
  • Drive application modernization, cloud transformation, automation, and optimization initiatives.
  • Govern program financials including revenue, margin, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.

Proposal & Pursuit Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end proposal responses for large AMS and transformation opportunities valued at multi-million dollars.
  • Collaborate with sales, solution architects, domain SMEs, delivery teams, and leadership during RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
  • Develop winning strategies, value propositions, pricing models, transition approaches, and delivery governance frameworks.
  • Participate in client presentations, solution defense sessions, and executive-level discussions.
  • Drive competitive positioning and differentiation for strategic pursuits.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor for customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Build and grow strategic client relationships to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), operational reviews, and steering committee meetings.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Transformation & Innovation

  • Drive AMS transformation through AI, Automation, DevOps, AIOps, Cloud, and Service Management best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and business value realization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and innovation programs.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own portfolio revenue, margins, resource utilization, and forecasting.
  • Support contract renewals, scope expansion, change requests, and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor program risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 20+ years of experience in IT Services, Application Management, and Program Management.
  • Proven experience managing AMS engagements and application support portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success in leading proposal responses and pursuits valued from $5M to $100M+.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management practices.
  • Experience managing large global teams and multi-vendor environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP IS-U, SAP S/4HANA Utilities, Oracle Utilities, Maximo, ServiceNow, GIS, SCADA, OMS, ADMS, and EAM solutions
  • Exposure to AI-driven operations (AIOps), automation, and digital transformation initiatives
