Role Summary
The HR‑Tech Program Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of enterprise HR technology transformation programs, covering Core HR, Workforce Management, Talent, Payroll, Learning, and Analytics platforms.
This role ensures strategic alignment between HR business objectives and technology execution, while governing large, multi‑workstream programs involving SaaS HR platforms, integrations, data migration, change management, and global rollout.
The Program Manager serves as the single point of accountability for program outcomes, stakeholder confidence, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance
- Lead large‑scale HR‑Tech transformation programs (Global or multi‑country).
- Establish program governance structures, including executive steering committees, cadence reviews, and escalation models.
- Define program roadmap, milestones, and success metrics aligned to HR strategy and business outcomes.
HR Technology Delivery Management
- Oversee multiple HR‑Tech workstreams such as:
- Core HR
- Talent (Recruiting, Performance, Learning)
- Workforce Management / Scheduling
- Payroll & Benefits
- Integrations & Reporting
- Ensure delivery across SaaS platforms such as:
- Workday
- SAP SuccessFactors
- UKG / Legion / ADP (as applicable)
- Drive adherence to Agile / Hybrid delivery models suited for HR SaaS implementations.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Act as the primary interface with HR leadership, IT leadership, and business sponsors.
- Translate HR strategy into clear, executable technology programs.
- Provide concise executive‑level reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
Integration, Data & Change Management
- Govern HR data migration, integration, and security across systems (ERP, Finance, Identity, Analytics).
- Ensure strong alignment between technology delivery and change management.
- Drive adoption through communication, training, and readiness planning.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Manage vendor commercials, change requests, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure financial transparency and proactive risk mitigation.
Risk, Compliance & Quality
- Identify and manage program‑level risks, especially around payroll, compliance, and data privacy.
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, data protection, and enterprise security standards.
- Drive quality across configuration, testing, cutover, and post‑go‑live phases.
People & Partner Management
- Lead global delivery teams across HR functional, technical, and integration streams.
- Coordinate with HR SMEs, SaaS vendors, and system integrators.
- Mentor project managers and workstream leads.
