Principal Product Manager Technical AI/ML

Job Summary

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager Technical AI/ML to lead the development of AIFoundy services, which offer an AI and Data service to address "last mile" and "heavy lifting" of AI challenges, enabling enterprise customers to solve business tasks, scale, move faster, and reduce costs. You will serve as the voice of the customer and be responsible for shaping a product roadmap that enables HCLTech to build a powerful AI/ML service product. You will drive AI/ML product strategy and invention for the company's most critical and ambiguous technical challenges. Your role includes inventing on behalf of our customers and advocating for their needs through the design, build, and launch phases. This position has high visibility, so you must communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company. You will operate at a multi-organizational level to define and deliver new AI/ML product categories or transform existing ones. You will also be tasked with measuring business impact by analyzing metrics and customer feedback. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Work efficiently and adapt quickly through rapid iteration.    

Key Responsibilities

Define the AI/ML product vision and strategy for large, ambiguous, and high-impact areas.  

Work backwards from the customer to invent and simplify, creating entirely new product concepts.  

Influence and align multiple VP-level stakeholders on a long-term product direction.  

Author documents that shape the company's investment in new technologies and business models.  

Mentor and develop senior and principal product managers across the organization.  

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.   
  • 10+ years of product management experience.   
  • A proven track record of launching and scaling multiple successful, large-scale technical products.  
  • Experience defining and executing a product strategy that spans multiple teams and organizations.  

Preferred Qualifications and Used Technologies, Services, Languages, or Frameworks 

 
  • MBA or advanced technical degree.  
  • Experience in a "zero-to-one" product development environment.   
  • Deep technical expertise that allows for credible engagement with principal engineers.   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing for an executive audience.

Maximum Salary (US):  270000
Minimum Salary (US):  230000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
