Job Summary

Scheduler - Supply Scheduling and Logistics Coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Independently own day-to-day scheduling for assigned products, assets, corridors, or transportation modes with limited supervision.
• Develop, validate, communicate, and adjust movement schedules using forecasts, refinery demand, inventory targets, customer commitments, and contractual obligations.
• Manage transportation nominations across pipeline, marine, rail, and truck carriers, including confirmations, changes, routine exceptions, and follow-ups.
• Own inventory reliability for assigned scope by assessing inventory gaps, recommending corrective actions, and coordinating with planning / operations stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day issue resolution with traders, optimizers, refineries, terminals, carriers, sales, accounting, third parties, and internal functions.
• Apply working commercial judgment to balance schedule feasibility, carrier constraints, contract commitments, quality requirements, and supply continuity.
• Support accurate and timely payments / collections by validating operational information and resolving routine movement / schedule mismatches.
• Identify and support continuous improvement, logistics optimization, cost-saving, and value-capture opportunities.
• Provide informal guidance to E1.1 schedulers and support onboarding / knowledge transfer for standard activities.

Skill Requirements

• Working knowledge of fuels, crude, NGL, product, pipeline, chemicals, or related logistics scheduling operations.
• Ability to independently manage movement schedules, nominations, inventory positions, stakeholder coordination, and routine issue resolution.
• Good understanding of transportation contracts, carrier procedures, quality requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal controls.
• Intermediate analytical capability to assess movement feasibility, inventory reliability, schedule exceptions, and logistics constraints.
• Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, customer focus, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Working commercial judgment and ability to decide when issues require E2.1 escalation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency preferred where required for assigned work.

Language - English

Bachelor’s degree. Good to have certification in Supply Chain, Business, or relevant technical field; equivalent experience as approved by Buyer.

24/7 operations support / rotational or global coverage as per business need

5-7 years relevant experience in scheduling bulk liquids movements, refining, pipeline, chemicals, logistics, or related operations.

Maximum Salary (US):  90000
Minimum Salary (US):  80000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
