Job Summary

 

This person needs to be a highly motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of fundamentally redefining how we work, not just making small improvements. You will be a dynamic product owner familiar with agile methodologies who will rally the team and work in a highly collaborative environment. You’ll need to be as comfortable talking to techies in our teams as you are communicating with our internal stakeholders and commercial customers and prospects.

  • Partner with the Team lead, Product Manager and internal stakeholders to set the product vision
  • The overall expert on the history of the product as well as alternative solutions evaluated
  • Lead a cross-functional team to define solutions to customer problems identified by the product team.
  • Drive execution of solutions and achievement of objectives and key results
  • Relentless urgency to deliver value to customers
  • Clear understanding of impact of revenue and understanding of the business value
  • A clear team leader and collaborator with the ability to orchestrate team success 
  • Able to drive continuously improvement in the team, processes and tools team)
  • Assist Agile Kanban team(s) in prioritizing work, design, and achieving outcomes
  • Ensure scope of work is pragmatic and minimal, and solves for a problem that customers value
  • Define story acceptance criteria, manage and prioritize the team backlog, and contribute to the overall product vision and roadmap
  • Collaborate with internal partners by building and nurturing relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Assist the team in finding integration solutions to complex challenges and helping the entire team meet its commitments
  • Carry a high degree of empathy for each team member, and seek to understand each person’s perspective in order to drive consensus and healthy negotiation
  • Solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements under minimal guidance and direction
  • Identify and address cross-project dependencies and impacts
  • Identify risks/issues in a timely manner and appropriately mitigate/escalate

Key Responsibilities

1. To deliver for the successful launch of the prototype including conceptualization| functional specifications and release plan.
2. To jointly perform various activities to determine the financial and commercial viability of the product
3. To assist with preparing marketing materials, training programs, and other resources for product launches.
4. To assist with gathering and documenting product requirements by researching competitor offerings, industry trends, and market needs.
5. To manage| guide and develop the team

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
