Job Summary

  • System Configuration & Customization: Map business requirements for EHS submodules (Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Waste Management) and MM (Inventory Management, Purchasing).
  • Supply Chain Compliance: Integrate safety data with procurement and logistics to ensure dangerous goods are safely transported and stored.
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) Management: Configure systems to generate, track, and output Safety Data Sheets and chemical approvals based on material specifications.
  • Master Data Management: Manage specifications, hazardous properties, and regulatory phrases, linking them seamlessly with material master data.
  • Cross-Module Integration: Collaborate with related modules like Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
  • Testing & Support: Create functional specifications, execute unit testing, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Ensure processes align with global standards such as REACH, OSHA, GHS, and local environmental regulations.
  • End-to-End S/4HANA Implementation: Lead Blueprinting, Business Blueprint Design (BBD), configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP EHS submodules on S/4HANA
  • EHS-MM Integration: Design seamless data flows between S/4HANA Materials Management and EHS to safely manage hazardous material procurement, storage, and inventory controls.
  • Master Data Transformation: Map and migrate legacy material master data, chemical specifications, and regulatory phrases into the S/4HANA database structure.
  • Fiori & User Experience: Design and implement modern user interfaces using SAP Fiori apps to optimize EHS reporting and inventory tracking for end-users.
  • Testing & Go-Live: Write functional specifications, oversee automated or manual unit testing, guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide post-implementation hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience mapping SAP EHS processes to MM workflows, including S/4HANA migrations and Fiori apps.
  • S/4HANA Expertise: Proven experience with S/4HANA EHS architectures (including the newer Environment Management component architecture).
  • Cross-Module Integration: Deep functional knowledge of how EHS triggers actions in SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
  • Specification Database: Mastery of the SAP EHS Specification Database, phrase management, and inheritance templates.
  • Migration Tools: Experience using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or LTMC for migrating legacy compliance data.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of SAP EHS consulting experience, with at least 1 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementation completed.
