Job Summary

Experienced SAP ABAP Lead Consultant with 8+ years of SAP technical development experience and proven expertise in SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion projects. Responsible for leading ABAP development, custom code remediation, technical design, integrations, and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP ABAP design, development, and technical solutioning activities.
  • Analyze and remediate custom code for S/4HANA conversion readiness.
  • Manage enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and integrations.
  • Support ATC remediation, SPAU/SPDD activities, and simplification item resolution.
  • Develop and review CDS Views, AMDPs, OData services, and Fiori-related objects.
  • Collaborate with functional, integration, testing, and data migration teams.
  • Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
    • Mentor junior developers and enforce development best practices.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion project.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
  • Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Fiori integration.
  • Knowledge of ATC remediation, custom code adaptation, and S/4HANA simplification activities.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Other Requirements

  • SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA certification.
  • Experience with SAP BTP and integration technologies.
  • Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
