Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with 10+ years of experience in delivering large-scale SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration, data analysis, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover activities.
The consultant will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end data migration strategies, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure high-quality and seamless migration of master and transactional data from legacy systems into SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities across multiple projects.
- Define and execute data migration strategy, approach, and governance.
- Conduct data discovery, profiling, and quality assessments.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
- Collaborate with business teams to define migration rules and validation criteria.
- Design and maintain source-to-target mapping documents.
- Lead mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.
- Manage data reconciliation and business sign-off processes.
- Identify and resolve migration issues and data quality challenges.
- Coordinate with SAP functional teams
- Develop migration dashboards and status reports for stakeholders.
- Support Hypercare and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with business and technical teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading migration workstreams and offshore teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

- SAP Data Services (BODS)
- SAP Information Steward
- SAP Data Intelligence
- SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT)
- Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
- Migration Object Modeler (MOM)
- Understanding of data models and ETL processes.
- Basic ABAP debugging and functional specification preparation.
- Experience with APIs, flat files, XML, CSV, and middleware integrations.
S/4HANA Experience
- Minimum 2–3 SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology.
- Understanding of SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP Certification in:
- SAP S/4HANA Migration
- SAP Data Services
- SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) (preferred)
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
