Job Summary
The Site Lead / Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading the engagement at a medical devices manufacturing site in Ireland, serving as the primary interface between the client and HCL. The role will focus on strengthening client relationships, driving operational excellence, enabling business growth, and ensuring successful delivery of HCL services across the site. This position requires a strong background in supply chain and manufacturing, along with proven leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial mindset
Key Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement and LeadershipServe as the primary site-level point of contact for the client and HCL.Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership, functional heads, and key stakeholders.Lead governance forums, operational reviews, and executive discussions at site level.Act as a trusted advisor to the client on business, delivery, and transformation topics.Business Development and Account GrowthIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the site and adjacent functions.Collaborate with HCL sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to shape proposals and growth strategies.Support account planning, opportunity pipeline development, and conversion of client needs into HCL-led solutions.Contribute to expansion of HCL’s footprint across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and operational support areas.Supply Chain and Manufacturing LeadershipBring strong understanding of medical device manufacturing, supply chain operations, and site-level business dynamics.Support operational improvement initiatives across manufacturing, planning, logistics, inventory, and material flow.Help identify process bottlenecks, service gaps, and opportunities for efficiency improvement.Partner with client teams to improve execution, reliability, and operational performance.Delivery and Service GovernanceEnsure effective delivery of HCL commitments at the site.Track performance against service levels, milestones, and business objectives.Drive issue resolution, escalation management, and corrective action tracking.Ensure alignment between client expectations and HCL delivery outputs.People and Stakeholder ManagementLead cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment.Support team performance, collaboration, communication, and accountability.Enable effective coordination across client teams, HCL delivery teams, and supporting functions.Foster a culture of ownership, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
