Job Summary

The Instrument Interface Specialist acts as a facilitator and liaison between Business and IT for instrumentation and LIS-related changes. The role requires a strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation, middleware systems, and business processes related to validating and processing orders/results.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between Business and IT for instrumentation and LIS changes
Gather and document interface and business requirements
Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Architects, Business Partners, Application Development, and QA teams
Support multiple implementation and conversion projects
Perform research, testing, and validation of instrument interfaces
Ensure interfaces comply with vendor and enterprise specifications
Design and oversee interface implementation plans
Provide project status updates and communicate go-live activities, documentation, and checklists
Educate stakeholders on interface capabilities and limitations
Support user acceptance testing and post-implementation activities

Minimum Salary (US):  61000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
