Exp4+Job TitleETL Support AnalystLocation – Pan India or any constraintHyderabadProject type (Support / Dev / Maintenance / Testing)SupportShift involved – If yes please share timing.RotationalCustomer interview involved – yes / NoNoSalary RangeSkillMandatoryProficiency Level (1-5)ETL Process ExpertiseYes4Analytical and problem-solving skillsYes4Communication skillsYes3SQL ExpertiseYes3JavaYes2Responsibilities:Monitor ETL jobs and data pipelines for failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.Provide timely and effective first-line and second-line support for all ETL-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Diagnose root causes of issues, implement immediate fixes, and propose long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.Escalate complex issues to development teams or senior management as required, while actively tracking resolutions.Analyze recurring incidents to identify underlying problems and systemic weaknesses in ETL processes.Develop and implement permanent solutions, automation scripts, and process enhancements to improve stability and efficiency.Regularly monitor the performance of ETL jobs, databases, and servers involved in data integration.Identify bottlenecks and propose/implement optimizations to improve data load times and overall system efficiency.Maintain and update ETL process documentation, including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL support, data warehousing, or data engineering roles.ETL Tools: Proficient experience with at least one major ETL tool (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, Microsoft SSIS, DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, Apache NiFi).Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and troubleshooting data issues in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).Scripting: Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell Scripting, Python) for automation, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments for log analysis and job execution.Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Nagios, ELK Stack) for logging, alerting, and performance analysis.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Desired Skills (Plus Points):Experience with cloud-based ETL services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, UC4, Autosys).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Certifications in relevant ETL technologies or cloud platforms.
