Job Summary

Qualifications for the IT Program Manager

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10–15+ years of relevant experience in IT project, program or portfolio delivery, including proven leadership of complex technology programs in international organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Workplace & Collaboration technologies, digital workplace transformation, cloud adoption, service rationalization or enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Strong command of program management practices, including governance, stakeholder engagement, benefits management, planning and control, risk and opportunity management, quality management, procurement and resource management.
  • Relevant professional certification preferred, such as PMP, PMI, IPMA or equivalent agile and program management credentials.
  • Proven ability to lead distributed, multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear options, recommendations and actions.
  • Strong experience with project and program management tooling, reporting, financial tracking, resource planning and delivery performance management.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, transition to operations and benefits realization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to engage effectively across cultures, functions and organizational levels.
  • Self-starting, structured and outcome-oriented mindset, with the discipline to maintain essential program administration, governance evidence and audit-ready delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards , implementation of best practices and perform Value creation and KM activities.
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
3. To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. Identify & flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
