Job Summary

Development Product Owner (DPO) – (Agile / Project context)

The DPO (Development Product Owner): Manages and prioritizes the team backlog Defines user stories and features Acts as a bridge between business and Agile teams Collaborates with cross-functional teams Provides adoption metrics, benefits tracking, and risk insights Reviews and accepts development outputs

✔ Key responsibilities: Backlog management & prioritization Story definition / acceptance criteria Stakeholder coordination (business + ART teams) Ensuring delivery aligns with business goals

 

Must Have Skills: •     10+ years of experience in pricing, rating, or insurance data products •     Proven experience working with Earnix or similar pricing platforms in a BA / DPO capacity •     Strong expertise in backlog management and prioritization across Earnix and Guidewire •   Experience ensuring high-quality, governed, production-ready pricing data 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
3. Implement agile methodology to drive project execution and delivery.
4. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
5. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project completion.
6. Manage project documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
7. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
8. Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve project objectives.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
10. Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business goals and objectives.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in program management principles and practices.
2. In-depth knowledge and experience in agile methodology and its application in project management.
3. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills to address project challenges and implement effective solutions.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software for project planning, tracking, and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
