Job Summary

Agile (Scrum, Kanban), SDLC, Jira, Confluence, MS Project

  • Extensive senior-level program/project management experience leading large, multi-workstream, cross-functional initiatives with significant global impact.
  • Deep knowledge of QMS processes (Deviations, CAPA, Audits, Inspections, Issue Management) and hands-on experience implementing or enhancing Veeva Vault QMS or similar enterprise QMS solutions.
  • Strong background in life sciences/pharmaceuticals with solid understanding of GxP, regulatory expectations, and delivery of system/process changes in a validated environment.
  • Proven ability to establish and run robust governance structures (steering committees, workstreams, decision forums) and manage integrated timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Demonstrated expertise setting up and managing large Agile programs in JIRA, including configuring projects/boards/workflows, managing backlogs/sprints/releases, and producing dashboards and metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and aligning senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across global and site networks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of providing clear, frequent status updates, executive reporting, and structured escalation and issue resolution.
  • Experience driving organizational change management, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and adoption tracking.
  • Proven leadership without direct authority, with strong facilitation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills in complex, high-visibility environments.
  • High analytical capability and discipline in execution, proficient with JIRA, Confluence, and standard project management tools, and able to define, track, and report on key program KPIs

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
3. Implement agile methodology to drive project execution and delivery.
4. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
5. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project completion.
6. Manage project documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
7. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
8. Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve project objectives.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
10. Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business goals and objectives.

1. Strong proficiency in program management principles and practices.
2. In-depth knowledge and experience in agile methodology and its application in project management.
3. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills to address project challenges and implement effective solutions.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software for project planning, tracking, and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
