Technical Project Manager (Video Systems & Residential CPE)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across internal video platforms and residential video products, including CPE devices (set‑top boxes, home gateways, modems).
- Oversee updates, maintenance, and automation of internal video systems supporting VOD, PPV, DAI, and related workflows.
- Ensure reliable integration between backend video platforms and residential CPE, improving system performance and reducing manual operations.
- Manage integration of custom software solutions for business customers leveraging video services.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, QA, operations, network engineering, CPE engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Communicate project status clearly and escalate issues proactively.
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, including CRTC reporting and audit readiness.
Skill Requirements
- Proven experience managing software development or system integration projects in video, network, or CPE environments.
- Strong understanding of video delivery technologies and workflows (VOD, PPV, DAI, CDN integration).
- Experience with residential video products and CPE, such as set‑top boxes, gateways, modems, device provisioning, and firmware updates.
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS, billing systems, compliance workflows, and automation tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
