Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager for Cybersecurity Platforms will combine technical expertise across
cybersecurity domains with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of complex security
initiatives. This role requires working understanding of SOC (Security Operations Center) tooling and
protection/detection capabilities for infrastructure, endpoints and workloads, expertise in managing
cross-functional teams, and the ability to ensure the timely and cost-efficient implementation of security
solutions. The ideal candidate will possess both a strategic mindset and hands-on experience from
design to code to build
Key Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end delivery of security platforms that implement controls to protect our
networks, servers, cloud workloads, and end-user devices.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, tasks, and resources, overseeing execution while
managing risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, operations, and procurement teams to align workflows
with deliverables.
• Govern project risks, dependencies, and change processes, ensuring adherence to agreed
timelines and budgets.
• Provide clear, concise status updates and maintain dashboards, progress reports, and executive
summaries that give leadership full visibility
Skill Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management
industries, with minimum 3 years in project management roles.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and operationalizing enterprise cybersecurity
platforms, including SOC tooling (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, NDR, Threat Intelligence Platforms)
and vulnerability management solutions spanning attack surface assessment, vulnerability
assessment, data aggregation and prioritization, threat exposure management, and attack
simulation and validation.
• Solid understanding of network security, system hardening (CIS Benchmarks), identity, and
operating system internals (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Practical experience building automation and tooling to reduce manual toil, accelerate
response, and enforce consistent controls at scale across infrastructure and endpoints.
Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
• Exposure to threat intelligence, threat hunting, and security observability.
• Familiarity with cloud security controls and architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
