Job Description: Program Manager – New Product Introduction (Electronics)Preferred Industry: Aerospace / Aviation ElectronicsRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for complex electronics products. The role is responsible for managing programs from initial concept and planning through product development,
industrialization, qualification, and production launch. Experience in aerospace electronics is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end NPI programs for electronics products, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans using Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, certification, testing, and commercial functions.
• Manage program milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resources, budgets, risks, and change requests.
• Drive design reviews, prototype builds, verification and validation, qualification, and production-readiness activities.
• Ensure smooth transition from product development to manufacturing and volume production.
• Monitor program performance using KPIs and provide clear status updates to senior leadership and customers.
• Identify program risks and implement effective mitigation and recovery plans.
• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations, including technical and commercial escalations.
• Support supplier readiness, component availability, and resolution of electronics supply-chain constraints.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, safety, and aerospace standards.
• Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement across the NPI process.Required Qualifications and Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. A master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
• 12–13 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience managing NPI programs for electronics products.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional product-development and industrialization programs.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project—approximately 7–8 out of 10—including scheduling, resource planning, dependency management, baselining, and critical-path analysis.
• Strong understanding of electronics product-development lifecycles, manufacturing processes, testing, validation, and production launch.
• Excellent program governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and resolve technical, operational, and commercial issues.
• Experience working with global teams, customers, and suppliers.Preferred Qualifications• Experience delivering aerospace or aviation electronics products.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable program/project-management certification.
• Experience with ERP, PLM, requirements-management, and issue-tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
3. To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. Identify & flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
