Employment Type Contract (Approximately 7 Months) Duration September 2026 – March 2027 (including knowledge transition with the incumbent Project Manager) Location Europe (Preferred) or resources able to work with Portugal, US, and Canada time zones About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to support a globally distributed Business & Product Operations team. The successful candidate will lead Agile project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage project governance using Clarity PPM and JIRA. The role requires close collaboration with Business Analysts and Development teams located across Europe and North America to ensure timely delivery of initiatives and effective project execution. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. • Serve as Scrum Master for Agile development teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Maintain project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocations using Clarity PPM. • Coordinate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Development, and other stakeholders across multiple geographic locations. • Monitor project progress and proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues. • Ensure accurate project reporting, dashboards, and status communication to leadership. • Manage Agile work items, backlogs, sprint progress, and reporting using JIRA. • Support release planning and ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery teams. • Facilitate effective communication among global stakeholders. • Perform knowledge transition with the existing Project Manager during the overlap period and independently manage project responsibilities thereafter. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. • 12+ years of Project Management experience • Extensive hands-on expertise with Clarity PPM (mandatory). • Strong experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments. • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban. • Hands-on experience with JIRA for Agile project management. • Experience managing geographically distributed teams. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively across European and North American time zones. ________________________________________ Mandatory Skills • Clarity PPM (Expert) • Agile Project Management • Scrum Master • JIRA • Project Planning & Execution • Risk & Issue Management • Stakeholder Management • Status Reporting • Cross-functional Team Coordination ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Scrum Master Certification (CSM/PSM) • PMP or PRINCE2 Certification • Experience supporting Business Operations or Product Development organizations. • Experience working in multinational/global organizations. ________________________________________ Soft Skills • Exce
Key Responsibilities
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
3. To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. Identify & flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
