Job Summary
Role - Release Train Engineer This role will support the Enterprise Cloud Product Agile Operations team, providing Agile program leadership across Cloud, Database, and Portal product teams. We are looking for an experienced Agile Program / Release Train professional with strong RTE capabilities who can take direction and priorities from leadership and then independently drive the work forward. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable facilitating large-scale planning sessions, working hands-on with teams and Jira data, partnering across global teams and time zones, and communicating delivery status, risks, and insights to senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPI Planning & Facilitation: Lead and facilitate PI/quarterly planning activities across multiple product areas, including preparation, planning sessions, plan reviews, dependency identification, prioritization discussions, and follow-through.RTE / Agile Program Leadership: Facilitate cross-team Agile operating cadences such as Scrum of Scrums, planning reviews, dependency/risk discussions, and other ART-level ceremonies.Executive & Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from delivery teams and Product Managers through Directors, VPs, and Senior VP leadership. Synthesize complex planning and delivery information into concise, leadership-ready communications, presentations, dashboards, and readouts, and confidently represent program status, risks, dependencies, and decisions in leadership discussions as needed.Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, engineering leaders, and delivery teams to drive alignment on priorities, commitments, dependencies, risks, and execution.Global Collaboration: Work effectively with counterparts and stakeholders across India and U.S. time zones, proactively coordinating handoffs, follow-ups, and decisions to keep work moving across regions.Delivery Analysis & Reporting: Analyze Jira and delivery data to identify gaps, trends, risks, dependencies, and areas requiring leadership attention rather than simply collecting status.Planning Governance: Help establish and reinforce consistent planning, prioritization, commitment tracking, and reporting practices across teams.Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively surface and facilitate resolution of cross-team risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and delivery tradeoffs.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, Agile practices, reporting, and overall program execution.Preferred Experience & SkillsDemonstrated experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Agile Program Manager, Senior Scrum Master, or similar Agile-at-scale leadership roleStrong experience planning and facilitating PI Planning or other large-scale, multi-team planning eventsStrong understanding of SAFe and Agile-at-scale practicesExcellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate detailed delivery information into clear messages for senior leadersDemonstrated ability to communicate and present directly to senior executives, adapt communication to different audiences, and exercise good judgment regarding when to act independently versus when leadership input or escalation is neededDemonstrated ability to take high-level direction, translate it into actions and deliverables, and independently drive work through completionStrong Jira experience, including queries, dashboards, reporting, planning, and delivery trackingExperience facilitating cross-team dependency, risk, prioritization, and capacity discussionsStrong analytical skills and the ability to independently assess delivery data and identify issues requiring actionAbility to facilitate challenging conversations, drive decisions, and maintain momentum without relying on direct authorityDemonstrated effectiveness working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders across significantly dif
