Job Summary

The Finance Operations Lead is responsible for managing end-to-end finance and accounting processes, driving operational excellence, ensuring SLA adherence, supporting compliance requirements, and delivering business outcomes through process improvements and automation initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, domain expertise, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations across one or more F&A processes:
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Record to Report (R2R)
    • Procure to Pay (P2P)
    • Order to Cash (O2C)
    • Treasury Operations
    • Financial Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, and compliance targets.
  • Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Process Governance

  • Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary contact for client stakeholders and internal leadership.
  • Participate in governance reviews and business review meetings.
  • Provide operational insights and recommendations to leadership teams.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare operational dashboards and management reports.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and risks.
  • Present business performance updates during governance reviews.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance analysts/associates.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and skill development initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, onboarding, and knowledge management.

Transformation & Automation

  • Identify automation opportunities using:
    • Power BI
    • Excel Automation
    • Power Automate
    • RPA tools (UiPath/Automation Anywhere)
    • ERP solutions (SAP/Oracle)
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel
