Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. TheQualityAssurance (QA)engineerwill be responsible for the product quality throughout the development of software. TheQAengineerwill ensure that all software changes meet requirements and has passed QA testing before being approved for release to production. TheQAengineerwill encourage and facilitate collaboration with Software Engineers, SA, BA,DM and support teams to deliver the highest quality software. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers to understand functional and non-functional requirements • Analyzebusiness requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios Clarify ambiguities and ensure testability of requirements 2. Test Design • Design comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements • Ensure coverage for functional, integration, and regression testing • Identify edge cases, negative scenarios, and boundary conditions • Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases 3. Test Execution • Execute manual test cases and report defects accurately and clearly • Perform functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing • Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing • Ensure test execution aligns with release timelines 4. Defect Management • Log defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results • Collaborate with developers to analyzeand resolve defects • Track defect lifecycle and verify fixes

5. Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Support) • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, review) • Provide clear testing status updates and highlight risks 6. Quality Improvement • Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and documentation • Identify areas for test optimization and efficiency • Support UAT preparation and validation when needed

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in a testing Lead or Manager level • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment • Experience in large-scale software development. • Proven experience and ability to manage people, processes, and technology. • Previous experience with hands-on SQA activity, including documentation, automated, non-automated and load testing. • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, organize and prioritize multiple assignments, and use initiative to accomplish results. • Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills. • Familiarity with QA tools and automation frameworks. • Good problem analysis and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • “Can do” attitude, be courage and confront with challenges, stand for the shared goals as well as be flexible for the approach. • Attention to the details. • Problem solving and analytical skills

Other Requirements

3+ years of experience in a testing Lead or Manager level • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment
