You’ll apply widely agreed software engineering principles and methodologies to design, develop, test and maintain applications and services to achieve the stated business and technology goals within required budgets and timelines. We’ll also look to you to oversee the quality of work, making sure that it meets the technical standards for all services output.
Provides innovative and practical designs for the design and integration of new data architecture for the enterprise, applying advanced technical capabilities.
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use using ReactJS and TypeScript.
Guide others in resolving complex issues in data architecture and solves complex, escalated aspects of a project.
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Monitors the progress and the quality of the project.
Reviews and develops due diligence to confirm the developed solution complies with architectural design.
Maintaining software through product lifecycle including design, development, verification, and bug fixes.
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Skill Requirements
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a background in software engineering, software design or database design and architecture, as well as experience in providing technical leadership and accountability for a software engineering team. You'll need to have a minimum experience of 6-8 years in development.
We’ll also look to you to have experience of test-driven development and the use of automated test frameworks, mocking, stubbing and unit testing tools, along with knowledge of the key phases of the software delivery lifecycle and established software development methodologies.
Experience with ReactJS and TypeScript with production development.
6+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications.
Experience with JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue).
Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles and experience with popular React JS workflows such as Redux.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Good knowledge in JavaScript OOPs concept.
Integrating the REST APIs in the UI.
JSON, REST and Web Services awareness.
Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies.
Experience in implementing CI/CD using Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.
Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services is a plus.
Prior experience in Transaction Monitoring and Case Management will a plus.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Financial Crime Case management tools.
Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai).
