SAP ABAP Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high‑quality ABAP solutions aligned with business requirementsDevelop and optimize ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDP, and performance‑critical programsTranslate Functional Specifications (FS) into scalable Technical Designs (TS)Handle complex enhancements, interfaces, IDocs, RFCs, and OData servicesEnsure code quality, performance optimization, and SAP best practicesSupport UAT, production issues, root cause analysis, and troubleshootingCollaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business usersMentor junior ABAP developers and conduct code reviewsActively participate in S/4HANA migration, remediation, and optimization projectsMandatory Qualifications7+ years of SAP ABAP development experienceStrong expertise in ABAP OO and S/4HANA developmentExperience with CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA conceptsHands‑on experience with interfaces and integrationsExcellent debugging and performance tuning skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor technical teams in the development and implementation of sap abap solutions
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
3. Design, develop, and test sap abap programs to support business processes
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance on system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring systems are efficient and stable
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve technical solutions

Skill Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of sap abap programming basics including:
2. Abap data dictionary
3. Report programming
4. Module pool programming
5. Function module programming
6. Enhancement framework
7. Proficiency in sap ui5/fiori, webdynpro abap, and sap workflow
8. Experience in sap technologies such as sap s/4hana, sap netweaver, and sap cloud platform
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver (If any)
