Job Summary

Job Description – Technical Lead (SAP ABAP + BRIM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of SAP ABAP-based solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Develop and enhance ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, OData, CDS Views).
  • Work on SAP BRIM solutions for billing and revenue management.
  • Ensure seamless integration across S/4HANA, BRIM, and external systems (APIs, CPI/PI).
  • Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure quality delivery.
  • Provide production support and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Mentor team members and ensure adherence to best practices.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (RICEF objects, OOPS ABAP, debugging, performance tuning).
  • Experience with S/4HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, enhancements).
  • Experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) including CC, CI, SOM, FI-CA.
  • Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, RFC, and SAP CPI/PI.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in subscription/usage-based billing models.
  • Exposure to high-volume billing systems.
  • Domain experience in telecom/utilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor technical teams in the development and implementation of sap abap solutions
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
3. Design, develop, and test sap abap programs to support business processes
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance on system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring systems are efficient and stable
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve technical solutions

Skill Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of sap abap programming basics including:
2. Abap data dictionary
3. Report programming
4. Module pool programming
5. Function module programming
6. Enhancement framework
7. Proficiency in sap ui5/fiori, webdynpro abap, and sap workflow
8. Experience in sap technologies such as sap s/4hana, sap netweaver, and sap cloud platform
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver (If any)
