SAP ABAP Senior Technical Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist in SAP ABAP Programming Basics is responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects related to SAP ABAP programming. They will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain sap abap programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
2. Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
3. Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.
4. Troubleshoot and debug sap abap programs to ensure optimal performance.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and project teams.
6. Stay updated with the latest sap abap technologies and best practices.
7. Participate in the full software development lifecycle of sap projects.

Skill Requirements

The candidate should have:
1. 10 years of Experience as SAP ABAP consultant.
2. Hands on Experience in ABAP WRICEF Objects.
3. Good knowledge in Exits, BAPI, BADI, Forms, BDC, Function Module etc.
4. Good Understanding of ABAP OOPs Concept, SAP enhancement Framework.
5. Preferably experienced in Interfaces(ALE/IDOC), SAP Workflows.
6. Need to have good knowledge in ABAP Development, Debugging and performance enhancement technique.
7. Expert Knowledge of Odata services and ABAP new syntax.
8. Understanding ABAP on HANA, S4 Concepts, Ability to learn new techniques.
9. Able to Understand Functional Specification, align with the functional team on business requirement, able to create technical specifications, ABAP build, Unit testing.
10. Good Knowledge of SAP transport management, SAP system landscape.
11. Good Communication skills can work in Global Project Team and flexibility to work in different time zones.
