Job Summary

 

 

 

A SAP Fieldglass Consultant is a specialized IT and business professional responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Vendor Management System (VMS) solutions. They act as a bridge between a company's contingent workforce/procurement goals and the SAP Fieldglass platform to manage external labor and service providers

 

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration: Lead requirement-gathering workshops, conduct fit-gap analyses, and configure core modules like Contingent Workforce and Services Procurement (SOW).

System Integration: Oversee the technical setup of data flows, integrating Fieldglass with ERP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA), HR platforms (SuccessFactors), and Ariba.

Workflow & Rate Management: Design complex approval chains, worker profile management, and global rate structures

Testing & Support: Create test scenarios, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot production defects and interface issues

Reporting & Analytics: Build custom dashboards and reports to track labor spend, supplier performance, and compliance metrics.

Hands-on functional configuration and administration experience using the SAP Fieldglass Configuration Manage

Familiarity with configuring API/connectors, web services, and monitoring system synchronization.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and implementation of sap ariba solutions based on business needs and requirements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements for sap ariba projects.
3. Develop and customize ariba applications to optimize functionality and user experience.
4. Provide technical expertise and support for ariba integration with other systems.
5. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for ariba solutions.
6. Stay updated on the latest sap ariba features and functionalities to suggest improvements and best practices.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap ariba development, configuration, and customization.
2. Strong understanding of ariba buying, ariba invoicing, ariba network, and ariba integration.
3. Experience with sap ariba upstream and downstream modules.
4. Knowledge of ariba guided buying, spot buy, and ariba sourcing functionalities.
5. Familiarity with sap ariba apis, middleware, and integration tools.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
