SAP BTP - CPI Lead Consultant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI (Integration Suite)
  • Configure adapters like SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, HTTP
  • Develop and maintain APIs and web services
  • Work on message mappings, XSLT mappings, Groovy scripting
  • Implement error handling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms
  • Integrate SAP (S/4HANA, ECC) with third-party systems
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production
  • Collaborate with functional teams (SD, MM, EWM, FICO) to understand requirements
  • Ensure performance optimization and security compliance
  • Maintain documentation for integration solutions

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and configure integration scenarios using sap cpi within the btp framework.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and propose solutions.
3. Develop and implement custom interfaces, mappings, and transformations in sap cpi.
4. Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot any issues in the integration flows.
5. Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the defined timelines.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members in sap cpi development best practices.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP CPI implementation and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
  • Knowledge of integration patterns (A2A, B2B, API-led integration)
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, OData services
  • Good understanding of XML, JSON, XPath, XSLT
  • Experience in Groovy scripting
  • Familiarity with SAP modules (SD/MM/EWM/FICO) integration points
  • Knowledge of SAP PO/PI (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Exposure to API Management and Event Mesh (good to have)
     

 

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Cloud Platform Integration or similar certification is preferred.
