SAP Basis Senior Consultant

Job Summary

The Senior Consultant (SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & Migration) is responsible for leading and executing SAP Basis activities related to S/4HANA upgrade and migration projects. The role involves ensuring the smooth transition of SAP systems while maintaining system integrity and performance. 

5-7 years SAP Basis experience in a large-scale SAP system landscape

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other SAP components.

SAP S/4HANA migrations. interfere system installations, upgrades, patching, and kernel updates.

Manage SAP HANA database administration, including backups, restores, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Participates in on-call Tier 3 production support activities. Is expected to have the technical knowledge and capability to handle most problems that may arise.

  Performs SAP Basis administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, Support Packages, patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components.    

Maintain multi-landscape environments through environment copies, system refreshes and transport management.

  Ability to provide quick resolution of the problems ensuring minimal downtime to the business . 

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of sap basis administration, with a focus on s/4hana upgrade and migration.
2. Proficiency in sap system upgrades, migrations, and system landscape transformations.
3. Strong understanding of sap architecture, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
4. Experience in working with sap solution manager for system administration and monitoring.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
