SAP EWM Lead Consultant

Job Summary

SAP EWM,MM Consultant

  • Lead and support SAP EWM and MM module implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
  • Configure and customize SAP EWM (Embedded/Decentralized) and SAP MM modules
  • Handle warehouse structure setup, inbound/outbound processes, and internal warehouse movements
  • Manage procurement lifecycle processes including PR, PO, GR, IV, and vendor management
  • Work on integration between EWM-MM, as well as with SD, PP, and FI modules
  • Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) and defect resolution
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation (FSD, configuration documents, KT materials)
  • Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
  • Collaborate with technical teams for RICEFW objects, enhancements, and integrations

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the implementation of sap ewm solutions, including system configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives.
3. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring successful project delivery.
4. Conduct regular system audits and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to sap ewm implementation or system operation.
6. Stay updated on the latest sap ewm trends and developments to recommend innovative solutions to enhance warehouse management processes.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum relevant 10+ years of experience in SAP EWM,MM implementation and support.
  • Strong expertise in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
    • Warehouse structure setup (Storage Types, Sections, Bins)
    • Inbound (ASN, GR, Putaway) & Outbound (Picking, Packing, GI) processes
    • RF framework, PPF, Queue management
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management)
    • Procurement cycle (PR, PO, GR, Invoice Verification)
    • Inventory Management & Valuation
  • Experience in EWM-MM Integration
  • Hands-on experience in S/4HANA environment
  • Exposure to Interfaces (IDOC, RFC) and integration with external systems
  • Strong understanding of business processes in supply chain and warehouse operation

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
