SAP EWM Lead Consultant

Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for SAP EWM Extended Warehouse Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the SAP EWM system. The role involves managing and optimizing warehouse operations by leveraging SAP EWM functionalities to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

SAP WMS Functional consultant position in offshore location 

  1. Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical integration requirements between SAP IM/WMS and 3PL WMS specifically Blue Yonder systems. 
  1. Defining the overall integration architecture, including functional solution ,data mapping, Data migration and communication channels between SAP and Blue Yonder. 
  1. Implementing technical integrations using relevant tools and technologies like SAP EDI, Webservice / OData API's to connect SAP S4 HANA Inventory system with 3PL WMS functionalities for warehouse management  
  1. Creating data mapping rules to ensure accurate data transfer between SAP and 3PL/Blue Yonder systems, potentially involving data cleansing and transformation processes. 
  1. Designing and executing comprehensive unit and integration test plans to validate the WMS and IM functionality 
  1. Overseeing the deployment of the integration solution and providing ongoing support for maintenance and troubleshooting
  2. Technical proficiency: Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP WMS , MM functionalities and their integrations with 3PL 
  1. Strong grasp of supply chain processes and business requirements to design effective integrations that align with business objectives
  2. Troubleshooting complex integration issues and identifying potential bottlenecks in data flow. 
  3. Effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of sap ewm (extended warehouse management) configuration, customization, and integration with other sap modules.
2. Proficiency in sap ewm functionalities such as inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, yard management, and slotting.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address system related issues and optimize processes.
4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with stakeholders and drive project success.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and guide team members towards project objectives.

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
