Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for SAP EWM Extended Warehouse Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the SAP EWM system. The role involves managing and optimizing warehouse operations by leveraging SAP EWM functionalities to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse-process workshops covering receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, physical inventory and shipping integration.
• Configure warehouse structures, storage types, movement types, transfer requirements/orders, strategies and interfaces.
• Define integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, handling units, RF/mobile processes and external warehouse systems.
• Assess WM-to-EWM or stock-room-management implications and support target-state decisions.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, conversion rules and operational procedures.
• Support warehouse master data, open-stock migration, testing, cutover and go-live stabilization.
• Troubleshoot inventory and warehouse execution issues and ensure reconciliation controls.

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of sap ewm (extended warehouse management) configuration, customization, and integration with other sap modules.
2. Proficiency in sap ewm functionalities such as inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, yard management, and slotting.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address system related issues and optimize processes.
4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with stakeholders and drive project success.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and guide team members towards project objectives.

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
