SAP FICO Product Specialist

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes, extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, and proven capability to lead workshops, solution design, business process transformations, and global deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Design and implement SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Configure and support core SAP FI processes like GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Financial Closing Activities.
  • Configure and support SAP CO processes:
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation, migration, and rollout projects.
  • Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Drive integration with SD with OTC, P2P .
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
  • Support data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and business sign-offs.
  • Mentor junior consultants and lead functional teams.
  • Provide production support and continuous process improvements.
  • Minimum 3–4 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
  • Strong understanding of financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Experience with business process redesign and transformation programs.
  • Expertise in integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules.
  • Group Reporting, FSCM (Credit Management, Dispute Management, Collections)
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology
  • Candidates should have experience in:
  • SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations
  • Global rollout projects
  • Brownfield and Greenfield implementations
  • Support and AMS engagements
  • Data migration and cutover planning
  • Hypercare and stabilization support

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA Finance, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification preferred.
