SAP PI/PO Lead Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The Lead Consultant (SAP Integration PI/PO) will be responsible for managing and implementing SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration solutions. They will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration across various systems and applications within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement sap pi/po solutions according to business requirements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and provide technical expertise.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sap pi/po interfaces and mappings.
4. Conduct system testing and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
5. Provide guidance and support to junior team members in sap integration projects.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in sap process integration (pi) and process orchestration (po) modules.
2. Strong knowledge of sap pi/po mapping techniques and integration patterns.
3. Experience in developing custom adapters and working with various protocols in sap pi/po.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize sap pi/po interfaces for performance improvement.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Integration (PI/PO and ABAP) Role – Job Description

Resource will be part of the Integration team working on PI/PO and ABAP side of integrations for Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, Finance.

Design, build, configure, and support SAP PI/PO interfaces for SAP S/4HANA. SAP ECC and connected systems

Work on end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integrations

Develop interfaces using ABAP proxies, IDOCs, oDataHandle interface configuration, message mapping, routing, communication channels, and monitoring.

Enhance Standard Enterprise services

Collaborate with the Functional and Business teams to understand requirements and issues and provide solutions

Participate in code review sessions with other team members

Prepare interface design and technical documentation

Skill set required

At least 7+ years’ experience in developing integrations using PI/PO and S/4, specifically in the following areas but not limited to:Object Oriented ABAPIDOC development

Enhancement (User-Exists, BADIs)Well versed with FEHPerformance tuning, Code ReviewExperience developing interfaces using SAP PI/PO 7.4, 7.5

Hands-on experience with common adapters (SFTP, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, oDATA, IDOC)

Thorough knowledge of PI architecture

The consultant is expected to leverage ABAP and PI solutions tied to integrations using the above methods/technologies.

Certification in SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration is preferred.
