Job Summary

The Lead Consultant in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting is responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting solutions. The role involves providing expert consultation to clients on financial processes and best practices within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

SAP Financial Accounting (FI) – General Ledger (FI-GL)

    • Chart of Accounts (COA)

    • Document Posting & Accounting Entries
  • Financial Processes:
    • Journal Entries, Accruals, Provisions
    • Month-End & Year-End Closing
    • Financial Statements (Balance Sheet & P&L)
  • New G/L / S/4HANA Finance:
    • Parallel Accounting
    • Document Splitting
    • Ledger Approach
  • Integration knowledge with:
    • CO (Controlling) – cost allocations
    • SD (OTC) – revenue postings
    • MM (P2P) – invoice accounting
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Exposure to S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal – ACDOCA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage end-to-end sap s/4hana financial accounting projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
2. Configure and customize sap s/4hana financial accounting modules to meet client's specific business needs.
3. Provide guidance and support to junior consultants and functional teams in implementing financial accounting solutions.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the sap s/4hana system.
5. Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users on financial processes and system functionalities.
6. Stay updated on the latest sap s/4hana financial accounting technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of sap s/4hana financial accounting modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and financial closing.
2. Proven experience in implementing sap s/4hana financial accounting solutions in a corporate environment.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the sap system.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
6. Certification in sap s/4hana financial accounting is highly preferred.
