SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Product Specialist

Job Summary

12+ years of SAP experience with extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Financial Closing processes.Lead end-to-end SAP Finance solution design, configuration review, testing, deployment, and post-production support for global business operations.Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, propose solutions, and translate requirements into functional specifications.Serve as the primary functional lead between business users, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure successful solution delivery.Manage Finance master data processes including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, GL Account, Cost Center, Profit Center, and Fixed Asset master data governance.Coordinate development activities by preparing functional specifications, reviewing technical designs, and ensuring adherence to SDLC and change management processes. Experience in SNOW, CHARM, HP ALM.Manage enhancement requests, defects, incidents, and project deliverables while ensuring compliance with established service levels and quality standards.Lead offshore and onsite teams, assign work, monitor deliverables, conduct reviews, and mentor consultants to ensure successful project execution.Drive system improvements, process optimization, and automation initiatives by leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities during SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and transformation programs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Treasury, Tax, Master Data, and Reporting teams to deliver integrated business solutions.Provide leadership during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities while ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Configure and customize sap s/4hana financial accounting modules to meet business requirements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial accounting needs and provide solutions within the sap s/4hana platform.
3. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and user training for sap s/4hana financial accounting functionalities.
4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls while utilizing sap s/4hana financial accounting features.
5. Support financial reporting requirements and provide insights for decision-making using sap s/4hana financial accounting data.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap s/4hana financial accounting modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and financial closing.
2. Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
3. Experience in configuring and customizing sap s/4hana financial accounting functionalities.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
5. Analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide recommendations for process improvement.

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates (C_TS4FI_1809) certification is preferred.
