SAP S/4HANA Materials Management Lead Consultant
Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud. The role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting sourcing and procurement solutions while ensuring adherence to clean core principles and public cloud best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP MM processes in S/4HANA Public Cloud
  • Handle procurement lifecycle: Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification
  • Work on inventory management including stock transfer, valuation, and physical inventory
  • Configure organizational structure, master data (Material, Vendor, Info Record, Source List)
  • Work with Business Partner approach in S/4HANA
  • Support testing phases (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) and documentation
  • Work on Fiori apps for procurement and inventory processes
  • Ensure compliance with Clean Core principles and public cloud restrictions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, WM)
  • Support issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvements

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of SAP MM experience with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA
  • Strong knowledge in Procurement and Inventory Management
  • Experience in S/4HANA functionalities like Fiori apps and Business Partner
  • Understanding of integration with FI, SD, PP, WM modules
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud restrictions and extensibility
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and support projects
  • Good understanding of workflows, release strategy, and pricing
  • Exposure to APIs and integration approaches (IDOCs, interfaces)

Good to Have

  • Experience with SAP Ariba or external procurement tools
  • Exposure to SAP BTP and integration
  • Knowledge of migration tools like LTMC
  • Familiarity with Agile/Activate methodology
  • SAP Certification in S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement

  • Client-facing experience preferred

Public Cloud Specific Expectations

  • Experience working with standard processes (no heavy customization)
  • Knowledge of in-app extensibility and configuration approach
  • Understanding of upgrade-safe enhancements and SAP best practices
