SAP S/4HANA Materials Management Lead Consultant
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support and enhance Procurement and Supply Chain processes through SAP MM solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Materials Management, procurement processes, inventory management, and integration with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP MM business processes including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide SAP MM solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Handle end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Configure and maintain:
    • Purchase Requisitions (PR)
    • Purchase Orders (PO)
    • Request for Quotations (RFQ)
    • Contracts and Scheduling Agreements
    • Release Strategies
    • Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
    • Vendor Master and Material Master Data
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and provide functional specifications.
  • Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, and integration teams for custom developments and interfaces.
  • Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Production deployments.
  • Resolve production issues and provide L2/L3 support.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user training material.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and support.
  • Experience in:
    • Procurement Cycle (P2P)
    • Inventory Management
    • Vendor Management
    • Purchasing
    • Logistics Execution
    • Release Procedures
    • Valuation and Account Determination
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with integrations to:
    • SAP SD
    • SAP FI
    • SAP WM/EWM
    • SAP Ariba (preferred)
  • Understanding of IDOCs, Interfaces, and Batch Jobs.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement and customize sap s/4hana materials management modules according to client requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate materials management with other sap modules.
3. Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of materials management processes.
4. Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of sap s/4hana materials management.
5. Stay updated on industry best practices and new sap functionalities to enhance materials management solutions.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong expertise in sap s/4hana materials management module.
2. Proficiency in configuring and implementing material master, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification.
3. Knowledge of sap fiori apps for materials management and familiarity with integration with other sap modules.
4. Experience in system testing, data migration, and performance optimization within sap s/4hana.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
6. Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or similar certifications preferred.
