Job Summary

The Lead Consultant (SAP S/4HANA Materials Management) will be responsible for managing and implementing SAP S/4HANA Materials Management solutions, ensuring streamlined processes and efficient inventory management. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements, designing solutions, and providing ongoing support to optimize Materials Management functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement and customize sap s/4hana materials management modules according to client requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate materials management with other sap modules.
3. Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of materials management processes.
4. Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of sap s/4hana materials management.
5. Stay updated on industry best practices and new sap functionalities to enhance materials management solutions.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong expertise in sap s/4hana materials management module.
2. Proficiency in configuring and implementing material master, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification.
3. Knowledge of sap fiori apps for materials management and familiarity with integration with other sap modules.
4. Experience in system testing, data migration, and performance optimization within sap s/4hana.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
6. Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Other Requirements

SAP MM Consultant with strong knowledge in Configuration & Creation of Enterprise Structure.  

1.             At least 1 ETE implementation in SAP MM module. 

2.            Have created Company Code, Plant, SLoc., Purchasing Group, Purchase Org. 

3.            Functional Knowledge of Purchasing process like purchase requisition, Scheduling Agreement, Purchase order, info-records, STO (Inter & Intra Company). 

4.            Expertise in Outline agreements: Contracts and Scheduling Agreement. 

5.            Knowledge of released strategies in PR, PO & Scheduling Agreement 

6.            Knowledge of Special procurement: Consignment, Subcontracting. 

7.            Should have good knowledge of Cross module integration with WM/FI/SD/PP/QM. 

8.            Have worked with integration with different environment SNC/APO, PI, EDI, MDM. 

9.            Working knowledge of Workflow in SAP & User Assignation for approval at different stages. 

10.          Worked on iDOC processing of inbound & outbound integration with PI module. 

11.          Knowledge of Different types of Stock i.e. Unrestricted, Quality, Restricted, Blocked, Transit. 

12.          Batch Management knowledge w.r.t.: Class, Object, Classification, Stock transfer Restricted to Unrestricted & Shelf Life/Expiry Date. 

13.          Working Knowledge of GR/IR with Mvt & background document generated in the process. 

14.          Reversal of all type of material document Posting in SAP. 

15.          STOs, Reversal of Material documents, Negative stock corrections, Consignment stock. 

16.          Knowledge of steps involved in Purchase return/Return to Vendor. 

17.          Knowledge of MRP & MRP area, MRP Run & functioning. 

18.          Configuration knowledge of different types of calendar in SAP and Assignation to Plant & Vendors. 

19.          Inventory reconciliation and adjustment of Inventory posting on year end/quarter end. 

20.          Different types of Taxation rules & its configuration in SAP. 

21.          Knowledge of Material Document, FI Documents 

22.          Reports Open/Closed PR/PO, Stock reports, Transfer Posting reports
