Job Description – SAP OTC Senior Consultant (ATP & aATP)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP OTC Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Available-to-Promise (ATP) and Advanced ATP (aATP) to support global SAP S/4HANA and ECC landscapes. The role involves driving solution design, enhancements, and AMS support for order fulfillment, availability checks, and supply-demand matching processes across geographies.

  • Location: India (Noida/Bangalore) with flexibility for global projects
  • Mode: Hybrid (Onsite/Offshore coordination)

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Solution Expertise

  • Lead OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes with focus on:
    • Order Management
    • Pricing & Billing
    • Shipping & Delivery Processing
    • Credit Management integration
  • Design and configure ATP and aATP functionalities, including:
    • Product Availability Check
    • Backorder Processing (BOP)
    • Product Allocation (PAL)
    • Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC)
    • Supply Protection
  • Work on S/4HANA aATP scenarios, including:
    • Advanced availability checks
    • Rules-based confirmation (RBC)
    • Release for Delivery
  • Integrate OTC with:
    • EWM / WM (warehouse execution)
    • PP / APO / IBP (planning and supply)
    • FI/CO (billing & revenue recognition)

Project & Delivery Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollouts, or AMS support
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders
  • Prepare functional specifications (FS), solution design documents
  • Work closely with ABAP / technical teams for RICEFW objects
  • Drive defect resolution, incident management, and enhancements
  • Support testing phases: Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression

Stakeholder & Governance

  • Act as OTC SME for client discussions and governance calls
  • Provide solution recommendations and process improvements
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (Onsite/Offshore)
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and delivery quality standards

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

  • 8–12 years of SAP experience with strong OTC domain expertise
  • Minimum 2–3 end-to-end implementations, preferably S/4HANA
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • ATP (ECC)
    • aATP (S/4HANA)

Functional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of:
    • Order-to-Cash business processes
    • Availability check configurations
    • Schedule line categories, checking groups & rules
  • Experience in:
    • Backorder Processing
    • Product Allocation
    • Delivery scheduling

Technical & Integration Exposure

  • Knowledge of integration with:
    • EWM / TM
    • PP / IBP / APO
  • Ability to read/debug basic ABAP
  • Experience with Fiori apps related to aATP

Tools & Methodology

  • Experience with:
    • Solution Manager / ServiceNow (for AMS environments)
    • Agile / Waterfall methodologies
    • Incident & Change Management processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA certification (SD or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of AI-driven ATP / supply optimization (good to have)
