Job Summary
Banking domain. The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for API and Webservices Testing, and Selenium testing. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing and development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining reliable, scalable automated tests across UI, API, and backend systems
- Partnering with developers to ensure smooth integration and strong test coverage
- Contributing to functional and performance testing to support scalable, high‑quality platforms
- Validating complex data flows across internal and integrated systems
- Continuously improving testing practices, tools, and ways of working
- Supporting and mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practice
- Own defect management end-to-end raising, tracking, and verifying resolutions
- Maintain test traceability, documentation, and reporting to a high standard
- Contribute to and maintain automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines
- Engage meaningfully in testing strategy, estimation, and solution design discussions
- Identify quality risks early and influence teams to address them before they become problems
Skill Requirements
- Intermediate level experience. From 3 years of experience working as a Software Developer or an Automation Tester
- Technical stacks include: Automation test (API) + Coding Skills + CI/CD
- Experience in doing automation test for API
- Professional experience in Golang or at least one programming language (Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python)
- Professional experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines or Git
- Good ability in English, confidently working in an international environment.
Other Requirements
- Experience in using test management tools like JIRA, etc.
- Experience with Performance and Volume testing
- Experience with Docker
- GCP foundation level certification or higher, or AWS/Azure equivalent.
- Relevant experience working in a baking-domain project
