SDET Senior Automation Tester

Job Summary

The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for API and Webservices Testing, and Selenium testing. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing and development practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement api tests and webservices testing strategies
2. Develop, and execute automated test scripts using selenium
3. Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure software quality and stability
4. Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies
5. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers
6. Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks

Skill Requirements

1. Experience in api testing and webservices testing
2. Proficiency in automated testing tools such as selenium
3. Good understanding of sdet (software development engineer in test) principles
4. Solid programming skills in languages such as java, python, or javascript
5. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
8. Good communication skills to interact with cross functional teams
