SDET Senior Test Lead

Job Summary

The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for conducting End-to-end functional testing using Selenium and other software testing tools. The role involves ensuring the quality of software applications through automated testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in testing Varicent ICM / compensation systems
  • Deep understanding of insurance compensation models (commissions, bonuses, credits)
  • Experience with data-heavy testing, and complex Varicent calculation validation
  • Strong SQL skills for backend and data validation
  • Experience testing Varicent jobs, ETL pipelines, inbound/outbound files, and reports
  • Experience in Varicent UI, workflows, reports, and calculation components
  • Ability to explain complex defects and data issues to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Execute E2E testing covering full lifecycle from source data ingestion to Varicent calculations and downstream outputs
  • Test Design and maintain regression test suites for releases, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Execute SQL-based testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation using Varicent Query tool
  • Validate Varicent components, compensation plans, crediting rules, calculations, overrides, workflows, and web forms
  • Log, track, and manage defects using Jira
  • Ability to back track issue in Varicent calc components for root causal analysis
  • Experience in mainframe screen navigations
  • Ability to create test data set and validate E2E flow within Varicent
  • Experience in running Varicent imports , scheduler, and post model queries.
