SDET Test Lead

Job Summary

Exp : 5+ yrs

Location : Chennai only as there is Device dependency

Work Type : Work from Chennai HCL Office Sholinganallur, as there is Device Dependency

 

  • Strong expertise in ADB commands for device interaction, debugging, and log collection.
  • Strong experience with Charles Proxy 
  • Hands on experience in Automation (Selenium, Java, Appium )
  • Experience with test management tools (Jira, XRAY).
  • Experience in Jenkins is a big plus
  • Solid knowledge of test case design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, state transition, use case testing).
  • Strong in Manual Testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex system-level issues.
  • Good understanding of Android/iOS architecture and embedded systems testing.
  • Experience in working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
2. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/webservices
3. Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
4. Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
7. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates

Skill Requirements

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus
