Job Summary

As a Test Lead specializing in API/Webservices Testing, SDET, and Selenium, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of testers to ensure the quality of API/Webservices and applications developed. Your primary objective will be to create and execute testing strategies, automate test cases using Selenium, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
2. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/webservices
3. Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
4. Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
5. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
7. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates

Skill Requirements

1. Strong experience in api/webservices testing methodologies and tools
2. Proficiency in automation testing using selenium
3. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
4. Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
7. Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
8. Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or SDET would be a plus
Maximum Salary (US):  155,000
Minimum Salary (US):  95,000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
